Alli Wong&#8217;s book is the perfect winter break read. It&#8217;s raunchy and hilarious&#8211;just what you need to de-stress. The story discusses race, class, other social pressures that affect\u00a0a family after a teen pregnancy. Told through multiple viewpoints, the stories are honest, intimate, and relatable. Krosoczka<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I really enjoyed this touching graphic memoir which describes the author&#8217;s experience growing up in the shadow of his mother&#8217;s addiction, raised by loving but flawed grandparents. The characters are unique and beautifully captured through\u00a0Krosoczka&#8217;s\u00a0expressive art and storytelling. Highly recommend for teens and adults.<\/p>\n<p>What are you reading?
