Yes, you! As an enrolled student at SJSU\u2019s School of Information, you are a member of ALASC. As a member you are eligible for our open Executive Board position.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">ALASC is currently seeking a Regional Events Coordinator. But, what is that you may ask?<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This pivotal role, coordinates all in-person events. That\u2019s right, if you have that urge to meet up with individuals in your area also in the program, would like to meet your classmates in person, and would like to facilitate people living in other areas getting together as well, then the Regional Events Coordinator position is just what you\u2019ve been looking for. You\u2019d be a great fit for this position, if you\u2019d like to attend a monthly board meeting, and participate in our Events Committee.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Serving on ALA\u2019s Student Chapter at SJSU is a great resume builder as well as providing opportunities for evidence collection for e-portfolios.
