The Library and Information Technology Association (LITA) is offering two Web-based courses in August:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Building Web Applications with\u00a0HTML5,\u00a0CSS3, and Javascript: An Introduction to\u00a0HTML5<\/em>, presented by Jason Clark of Montana State University Library.<\/li>\n
  2. Getting Started with\u00a0GIS<\/em>, presented by Eva Dodsworth, geospatial data services librarian at the University of Waterloo Map Library.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Building Web Applications with\u00a0HTML5,\u00a0CSS3, and Javascript: An Introduction to\u00a0HTML5\u00a0<\/em>will consist of four live lectures held from 11a.m. – 1 p.m.\u00a0CDT\u00a0on Aug. 6, 8, 10, and 13, with additional self-paced modules in Moodle.<\/p>\n

    Getting Started with\u00a0GIS<\/em>\u00a0is a three-week course that will run Aug. 13 – Sept. 4 and consist of weekly asynchronous lectures and modules in Moodle.<\/p>\n
