Join us for a party devoted to self-care and take a sneak peek of VCARA’s new iSchool Student Hangout on FrameVR. Decorate your ideal comfort zone\, contribute to our Affirmations Wall\, share your self-care tips\, and chat with us about all your favorite winter things. \nAll iSchool students\, alumni\, and faculty are invited. VR headsets are not required. (More information on accessing the VR space will be provided after you register.) \nThursday\, December 12\, 2024 @ 7pm PT \nClick here to register now \n \nAbout the Hosts: \nThe Asian American\, Native Hawaiian\, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) iSchool Student Group is focused on bringing awareness to the needs of AANHPI students and staff in information professions\, engaging the student body in recognition and support for AANHPI students and communities\, and promoting connection and cultural understanding. \nThe Virtual Center for Archives and Records Administration (VCARA) is the iSchool’s virtual worlds and social VR club. VCARA promotes social\, creative\, and educational collaboration using multiple virtual environments; from desktop virtual worlds to platforms accessed with VR headsets.
