The contest is open to all students enrolled in San Jos\u00e9 State University.<\/p>\n<p>The winner will receive <strong>$50.00<\/strong> in cash and a <strong>1-year paid ASIS&amp;T student membership<\/strong>, as well as be featured on the Student Chapter\u2019s website and social media sites*.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Video Content Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Describe the SJSU ASIS&amp;T Student Chapter<\/li>\n<li>Talk about the benefits of being a member of our great Student Chapter<\/li>\n<li>Tell students how to join the Student Chapter&#8217;s membership<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>All submissions must be:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A video (no slides or screencasts)<\/li>\n<li>2 minutes or less in length<\/li>\n<li>Use file formats mp4, avi, or wmv<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To submit your video, send an e-mail containing your video file to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:sjsuasist@gmail.com\" target=\"_blank\">sjsuasist@gmail.com<\/a>, including your name, the e-mail address by which you wish to be notified, and the title of your video.<\/p>\n<h3 align=\"center\"><strong>All submissions must be received by\u00a011:59pm PST on April 20, 2012.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3 align=\"center\"><strong>The winner will be revealed on April 27, 2012.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Here are a couple video examples produced by other ASIS&amp;T Student Chapters to get your creative juices flowing; however, we want you to produce a video that creatively represents the best of our SJSU ASIS&amp;T Student Chapter.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/asistpratt.wordpress.com\/2010\/01\/18\/asist-video-for-new-student-orientation\/\">Pratt Institute<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/28524101\">University of Denver<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0For questions regarding the Video Contest please contact Carletta Woods, Video Contest Committee Chair, at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:sjsuasist@gmail.com\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">sjsuasist@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>*By submitting a video you are authorizing the SJSU ASIS&amp;T Student Chapter the right to use\u00a0your video. \u00a0All submissions will be featured on the Student Chapter\u2019s YouTube Channel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you the next Scorsese, Spielberg, or Tarantino?
