Usability Scavenger Hunt <\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n

November 9, 2011\u00a0 6:00-7:00pm (PST)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In conjunction with World Usability Day, Dr. Jeremy Kemp has proposed a team of San Jose State University students be entered to compete virtually in Portland, Oregon CHIFOO’s usability scavenger hunt contest.\u00a0 The team will consist of up to five participants who will comb their environment for ways in which usability has made a difference in the way we live in the world around us.\u00a0 If we get more than five interested participants, we can form additional teams.\u00a0 For more information about the scavenger hunt, see the following URL:\u00a0 http:\/\/www.chifoo.org\/index.php\/chifoo\/events_detail\/world_usability_day_2011\/<\/a><\/p>\n

There will be an Elluminate meeting on the evening of November 9, facilitated by Dr. Jeremy Kemp, to organize the team and kick off the 24-hour scavenger hunt, which ends at 6pm the next day, November 10.\u00a0 The team will also meet after Dr. Kemp’s talk on November 10 from 7:30-8:00pm to share the results of the scavenger hunt with each other.\u00a0 If you are interested in participating in the scavenger hunt, please contact Frank Florian, the Student Chapter’s Program Director, at fgfinsf@earthlink.net<\/a>.\u00a0 If you are unable to notify us in advance that you want to participate, you can also just come to the Elluminate session.<\/p>\n
